A Community Open House took place on August 27, 2024 to provide updates for the ongoing projects in the Globeville area including the 48th Avenue Outfall and Globeville Levee. The Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) organized a Community Open House at the Globeville Center to provide information on the ongoing projects including:
- 48th Avenue Outfall
- Globeville Levee Construction
- 44th Avenue Pedestrian Improvements
- Heron Pond/Carpio-Sanguinette Park
- Lincoln Underpass at I-70
- Franklin Street Bridge
- Denver Water Construction on Washington St.
- Mayor’s Office of the National Western Center (NWCO) Project Updates
DOTI is committed to ensuring that the voices of the community are heard at every stage of the development of the Washington Street area, including planning, design, construction and placemaking. The construction of the Globeville Levee including the 48th Avenue Oufall & Overlook is underway and Valerian along with DOTI, Wilson & Company and OV Consulting were on hand to share the status of the projects and answer any questions or concerns.
