The Compass neighborhood is a neighborhood in Erie specifically designed to encourage community and outdoor recreation. The overall planning theme for Compass arranges residential lots in clusters of varying sizes in order to provide a quality product for a range of homeowners. The larger lots span the perimeter to blend the transition from residential use to the adjacent dedicated open-space. Three neighborhood pocket parks as well as a community garden and an open-space trail network tie the neighborhood together and provide a unifying theme.

Valerian was an integral team member throughout the planning process as well as the preparation and approval of the Preliminary Plat and Final Plats for Filings 1 and 2.
