The Town of Columbine Valley updated their Master Plan in 2019 and Valerian was tasked with assisting the Town with its public outreach component as well as developing the Parks and Open Space section of the master plan. Alongside Zoeller Consulting (now NHN Consulting), Valerian organized multiple town-wide surveys using both mailers and on-line platforms, and two community meetings to evaluate the wants and needs of residents to develop a vision for the future of Columbine Valley. Additionally, Valerian attended the Town’s summer concert series to ensure that all constituents had the opportunity to provide their feedback.

Using the compiled information received from the public outreach phase of the project, Valerian was able to develop a master plan document that accurately reflects the priorities of the Town’s residents.
