On Wednesday November 18, community members and those involved with the project, gathered in Centennial Park to celebrate the ground breaking of Salida’s new 14,000 SF skate park.

The winter season may hinder construction a bit but the site’s superintendent, Kevin Lane, hopes the park will be ready for kids in the late spring. We’ll post updates of the park and follow the construction progress!
