Valerian and the Cole community gathered at St. Charles Rec Center on June 2nd for a move in the park. The community gathering was the second time members of the neighborhood had the opportunity to join together and participate in the ongoing design process for St. Charles Place Park.

The evening was packed with activities for all ages. Residents and neighbors enjoyed food from the grill, drinks, snow cones, pop corn, face painting, music, and games! Volleyball and football kicked off the afternoon while the younger ones played in Valerian’s pop-up nature play exhibit.  Guests were able to stop by the design booth where concept plans for St. Charles Place Park were on display before they eventually sat down to enjoy the movie.
