The redevelopment of St. Charles Park continues to evolve as Valerian works alongside Denver Parks and Rec and Cole neighborhood residents to refine the design of the park. Recently, the design team presented its plan to Happy Haynes, the Executive Director of Denver Parks and Recreation, to showcase the collaboration and involvement of the young St. Charles Ambassadors. The Ambassadors represent their neighbors within Cole and have given valuable input and direction which has played a crucial role in securing multiple stakeholders and partners to see the project through to completion. Their leadership and advocacy will ensure this park serves as a safe and healthy space in the Cole community for generations to come.
